Analyzing Spread Page Language
Hey Guysss, this is going to be the last post about analysis ever. This is going to be useful for the creation of my own feature spread.
Your Dog

This spread is in second person point of view, directing to the audience which makes it more engaging. The article is formal and informational, although at first its in second person point of view. it changes to third person. This shows the overall meaning which is to tell the stories of other pups and while you are at it, also learn some tips.Disclaimer: This feature spread is from another magazine since I wasn't able to find the feature spread that went with the cover and table of contents of my selected magazines.
Dogster
This article is written in first person, and then switches to second person. This allows the audience to learn about the author's story and then be able to relate it to their own. It gives tips for the pet owners to improve their behaviors. By adding this, it engages the audience to be interested in reading the article to put the practices to use. The first letter "W" is large and pink to emphasize the beginning of the article. The article is separated in two sections to show the article's focus which is the characteristics of puppies when they are one year old and proceeds to helpful ideas for the reader. This ties with the overall meaning which is to tell a cute story of a pup while it is young and entertain the audience.
That is it for now, see you soon!!!
