Experience with Photoshop

Previous Experience

I have always used apps like Facetune, Picsart and Lightroom to edit my pictures. In fact, I even have a folder for them in my phone. The purpose has always been to change the colors, the brightness, saturation or to blur out any unwanted marks.

However, I have never dealt with anything that helps to completely erase something out of an image and make it look natural.

What I feel comfortable doing

I definitely feel comfortable changing the colors and light of the pictures. The only thing Im not comfortable with is editing things out or layering things together which is something I intend to do for my photos. I plan to crop out the background of a photo and then layering into another background. It will be something new to me but I catch on to these type of things easily so I am not worried.

An example of something I  have edited in Lightroom is this picture of a cat:

This is a before and after picture of the cat, my purpose was to make it look darker and Halloween-y since it was during October. I played with the temperature, tint, the brightness, saturation, sharpness, etc.

Goals

I want to be able to remove edit out the background and perhaps insert the picture into a different background.

This picture over here was photobombed by my stepdad, who was sleeping which looks terrible so hopefully that can be fixed.

Photoshop Tutorials

I watched the tutorial named "Remove objects or move them to another part of the image."
It doesn't seem that hard, I  will put my skills to the test and you guys will be able to see what I  learned in the next blogs.
